Herald Leader Photographers
Comments from Kevin: There are several very fine photographers at the Herald. Most of these guys shoot photojournalistic style with expensive digtal equipment. Because they work with the Associated Press and the Herald, they work very quickly, burning a CD, and uploading images to the wire directly after an event. If you plan on putting together your own album and don't need any editing, it might be worth contacting one of their photographers and see if they'll shoot for you and include the rights to the photographs at an additional fee. I've worked with Mark Cornelison a few times - he does nice work. And also like David Perry's work. David Perry recently shot my friend Cheryl Tolbert (you can hear more clips of her on my web site) who is available to sing with our jazz groups.
