Quiet background music allowed (small jazz groups, string quartets, harpist etc.), no large amplified bands (covers, high energy dance bands, etc.).Although they say no amplified music, I have worked there at least a hundred times over the years as a solo pianist or with one of our jazz groups and volume has never been a problem. Some amplification is necessary (we bring a very small speaker). Mary Jo will remember me and you can confirm this with her. In addition to the reception music, I can also provide a small PA and wireless lav for the ceremony if you'd like one. One of the things I like to do is to place a wireless speaker inside the house (if you are having me play on the back porch), or place the wireless speaker on the back porch (if you are having me play inside the house) so you can hear the music in both places. This wireless system also ties in to the electric keyboard when I am playing ceremonies in the back corner so you can hear the start of the wedding selections clearly. Music has to stop at 10 PM. Vendors and guest must be out by 11 PM. There are several testimonials from Bodley couples in the testimonial section of this web site. The most recent event there was Jaime's wedding and reception on August 11, 2007.
